+1 for the old 6Speedonline.

 

This thread and others regarding the design are all being read and considered. Feedback is important.

 

I have never had issues with 6 speed being slow. Now it is to the point where I would honestly consider not coming back until the problems are resolved. My connection is amazingly fast as are my computers, this site is the problem. Running a forum is not rocket science guys. Most don’t like this new format or the problems associated with it. How about compromising with the people who patronize this site and its sponsors?

BTW the loading bar took about 5 minutes just to get me to the login page so I could post this!!!!!

 

This new layout is really difficult to look at.

The banners on the left are the worst part.

 

Hate it - why do I have to scroll waaaaayyyyy down to get to the posts? This is a serious design setback for this site. It's completely uncomfortable to navigate and the ads on the left are obnoxious. I actually thought I accidentally logged in to some ricer board instead of 6speed. Ugh.

 

I can't stand it and don't visit it very often anymore!

 

How about running a poll? This needs to be changed, I feel like I'm getting annoyed by the site the more I visit.

It's hard to explain, it seems like the older site had warmer feel to it and now it's like it is trying too hard. Hard to put into words put my vote is to change it back!

Changes are coming, I believe.

 

I have lost interest in this site now.

The thirst for advertising $'s in this current format is going to chase many folks away!

 

I still have a problem with this on my small monitor. Have to scroll several feet down to see the posts...

 

I've always loved this website for the amazing content provided by the vast cross section of membership. Website design never really was an issue to me and never affected my visitor experience. Now, I find that I must have truly liked the old design, because the site is simply horrid now.

The great people and content are still all here (thankfully), but the website now seems to get in the way and "fatigue" me while I am here. What a shame.

I don't care that the ownership changed....but why did a successful website have to change as well? This mistake is commonplace in business though....a thriving business is bought up and instantly changed. Most of the time it is for the worse. Welcome to the new 6, I guess.

 

If you don't mind, could you please tell us what some of the proposed changes might be? It would be encouraging to hear that the owners of this board are willing to improve upon the site's current design.

 

I hope that is the case. I used to visit the site often, usually a few times a day.

At this point, I only check in ever few days to see if the abomination of a new design has been changed back to the previous design. I can't stand to browse the site for me than a few minutes in its current revision

 

You won't get an argument from me on this. I feel much as you do. IB's is aware of our feelings and hopefully changes will be made. I can't be specific or promise.
