User CP: Turn OFF Thread Subscribe

First, huge thanks for a great discussion board.

Can not find a way to NOT be forced to subscribing to a thread automatically that i eply to. Do not need to subscribe to threads so do not want e-mail notices. How can i turn off such e-mail notices? Many thanks.

user control panel under edit options....default subscription mode...you can select do not subscribe or no email notifications...be sure to save changes at the bottom of the screen
