When I visit the BMW, Mercedes or most other forums, all I see are sponsors posting pictures of cars with their wheels or parts.

Can there be a separate section for this?

I think it detracts from the members of 6speed that post their vehicle, inquiring about problems and looking for advice and feedback. That's the main purpose of this forum.

Now, I understand a need for sponsor advertising. I just think it's a little too excessive.

 

Most of the advertising I see are when I view a forum without logging on. When I log on, it pretty much becomes a lot less crowded with ads. Try it logging on when you lurk.
