We are super excited to launch a new way to enjoy the 6Speed community from your mobile devices!
It's still a very early beta but beginning today if you're logged in and visiting the Community from your mobile device, you can now choose a dark mode theme in addition to the standard 'bright' theme we've always had 😎
We are looking to you for feedback about the experience. Being that you are one of the very first communities we're trying this out on, we don't expect to have gotten it perfect so we appreciate any feedback you're able to provide.
We also recognize that some of you would like to see a dark mode on desktop, we do too! Our first goal is to perfect this mobile experience and our hope is to release dark mode for all browsers once the summer is over. Thank you all in advance for your understanding.
Please log in from your mobile, turn the dark mode on using the Hamburger menu and let us know your feedback in this thread.
Hello @Robb M. ,
I am logged in, I just saw your edit, and I also tried in the forums, but as seen by my screenshots, the hamburger menu is only seen on the homepage, not in the forums.
I do not have desktop mode checked, but I am using full site, that may be the difference.
@Robb M.
I think I figured it out, dark mode is not available for full site, if I pick the mobile style, then the hamburger menu is there, as is dark mode, but if I pick view full site, the style reverts back to Classic Next Gen 3.0, with no hamburger menu, so no dark mode option, I guess view full site is not a mobile version, eventhough I am on my mobile with no desktop site checked.
Edit: A little odd thing just happened as I was loading up the screenshots, the attachment page went to dark mode, then when I uploaded and it returned to this page I am typing on, it went back to light mode on it's own.
