i have heard of 1 or 2 people who liked speed gallery, one was a seal grey 996tt who also had his lights tinted at sticker city... dont remember the name.
i live 5min away from speed gallery too, but will never go there again, also sticker city is garbage too. the window tinter next to them is legit though,
I've had 5 cars tinted at Sunshield.
Looks like I will be going elsewhere. Thanks again for the info everybody.

yeah i was really impressed by sunshield, my brother took his 997 and bmw there. wish i did too.
i was initially turned off by them because i think they are related to sticker city somehow. maybe not. but after my 2 or 3 bad experiences with SC i just stayed away.

I almost bought a car with work done by TRE. The owner told me to go to them for PPI.

Now I am glad I did not do it.

That's probably me , but I don't think I remember meeting..

SG is a good group of guys and it definitely wouldn't hurt to give them a chance to earn your business! I get pretty neurotic when I am about to buy something, so I like to talk to 2-3 different companies about it. You should do the same... GL

BTW, GTS is awesome!!

Internet forums aren't the best place to get recommendations - better to get them from people you know personally because people with grudges/crushes can let their emotions blur the facts. In any event, here are my experiences in the LA area (take them with the appropriate grain of salt):

I've had three experiences with Speed Gallery - one sort of OK, the other two very bad. I believe that Sport Trend is somehow associated with them and their cars always seem a bit well worn so I steer clear of both now.

I've just recently got an older air-cooled 911 and TRE has done a good job for me. They came highly recommended by several friends.

Foreign Sport Technician in Santa Monica is outstanding. Claudio and Paul really know they stuff - especially on newer model Porsches and Ferraris/Lamborghinis.
