Anyone's work hiring?

Hey guys I'm about to graduate next quarter and I approach graduation my work load for school is diminishing so I'm looking for a part time position. I was wondering if anyone's work place is hiring at the moment or if anyone knows of any places hiring. I'm a Business Administration major with a concentration in Accounting and I have previous (slight) experience in sales. So far I've just been filing out apps online but in this economy it's tough to get a job without a hookup. Any type of help would be appreciated! Thanks

Okay...so you have a degree...but what do you want to do? There are firms that are hiring, but what do you want to do?

To be honest I'm open to practically anything business related. My concentration is accounting but I actually enjoyed all the business classes I took in college (marketing, finance, management). I can't really choose one area that I can say I like doing the most. It's tough getting a job at a firm for me, especially these days, because I'm sure they're flooded with resumes from human calculators with perfect gpa's. I admit I focused more on making money in college than actually studying and I did slack off in the classes I were not interested in (cultural anthropology, geology, etc lol) but did really well in the ones I enjoyed and thought I would use in the future (my business classes). These days it seems to be more about who you know than how well you get things done, at least in getting your foot in the door. Thanks for your reply btw!
