New customer brought this Gallardo to us after having it vandalized at work. Apparently someone wanted to take the bull emblem off the hood by prying on it with a blunt metal object. The emblem is damaged and so is the clear bra

**Note: We did not install the previous bra on this car

 

Fortunately, the clear bra took the brunt of the damage. However, the painted area around the emblem was scratched because the clear bra did not wrap into this area (something we stress on our installations)

Here are some pictures of the gaps and bubbles of the previous bra installation (too much gap and bubbles in the grooves)

**Note: We did not peform the previous installation

**Our custom installations stress the importance of wrapping edges wherever possible, so that it adds to the protection needed. Paint is thinner on the edges, so it makes sense to provide added protection there.

 

Finished product:

1. no bubbles
2. no exposed edges (we wrapped the entire hood)
3. no need for a repaint because the previous clear bra protected the paint's finish
4. only took 1 hr vs. a repaint (if no bra was present at the time of vandalism) at 3-5 days time

Ready for the road once again!

 

Vandals really get my blood flowing. Don't they have something better to do...

 

I've gotten all of my cars vandalized before, due to the "ghetto" areas my businesses are in, & it's one of those things that really make me snap. The vandalism would be so worth it if I could catch the culprit in the act. It would end in something that includes their jaw, the sidewalk, & my foot.

... Anyway, I'm glad for the owner that his beautiful Lambo's hood didn't need a repaint or anything serious.

 

What is surprising is that this took place in Irvine.

Some of the spoiled idiot kids there (or from Newport) just have a sense of entitlement and don't give a **** about people's property.

I was at the In-N-Out in the University Center at about midnight and I parked my M5 right in front... Well, as I was eating, I see this group of kids start to congregate by it. I walked outside and one of the kids was sitting on my bumper. I wanted to bust his face.

Kids today have no respect.
