Alpine,

Shady? Varsity? That's a piece of Atlanta nostalgia. I just suggested that area as a location that might be more centrally located for the majority. It's the only place I knew of in that area. I think there's also a salza club nearby. Want me to look into that? :-)

Perhaps the proper approach would be for all who are interested to list the town where they reside/work and we could go from there to establish a location that would be the fairest to all.

Al,

I was kidding The varsity is a cool place to meet up. Although the Salza clubs sounds interesting. How are their bagles?

Let's do this soon. I would like to kick off the 1st annual. Those west coasters and their 355 days of sunshine and no rain! Sheesh.

I'll be the first to volunteer location for those who don't read the upper right section to determine location. I am in Duluth.

Alpine, yours says Atl. Is that correct, or are you in a suburb thereby escaping the City of Atlanta taxes?

I am in the Roswell/Alpharetta area and I escape the City of Atlanta taxes only to find myself in City of Roswell and Fulton taxes. I need to move up a north a little closer to you and reduce my taxes by almost half Got any suggestions?

Which side of 400 is that? I'm off Westside Parkway, within walking distance of the new Verizon Amphitheater, w00t w00t.

Recommencations would have to be tempered by your commute to work each day, or lack thereof.

We should perhaps link this thread to the V-Max forum. There would probably be several over there who would be interested in a get together. What do you think?

I believe some of their get-togethers involve little trips down the highway. That is not something in which I have any interest unless I'm along for the ride in someone's car other than mine.

Al we can link. I think jenks has already seen this and I am sure a few more would like to join the coffee and cars

My commute would be outside of traffic times so I think I could be okay with that. I have to try to unload a home in a not so pleasant market so I might have to wait and see

The coffee and cars to me is not taking long trips down the highway to draw attention to local law enforcement So I am okay with just meeting up and shooting the breeze and if it should come up to head out for a small drive then so be it but it would not be my intent.

Iron and Brando are next to me. So that would be cool to head up together to a place we all decide on.

I'm not too against a "highway" drive, though I doubt I could keep up lol. So, I'm down for that if someone fast would let me ride shotgun haha.

I'm up for it. I'm near Jones Bridge and Old Alabama, but travel well, so a little drive won't hurt me. I'd likely only be up for some thing on the weekend, or after 6 pm or so during the week.

I'm new to this forum and it's not a turbo, but I live on the Roswell border and would love a chance to meet you guys and see your cars. I am going to try to make it the the Avenues this Saturday.
