When is the next event?

 

The first Sunday of next month.

 

This weekend went well, even though the parking was awful. Some new classics and exotics came out!

 

Today was another full meet, tons of great cars. To me, this stole the show......599 GTO and Ferrari of Atlanta was gracious enough to bring it.

 

The GTO was definitely awesome. Was the Porsche 550 Spyder real?

Hey everyone, new to 6SO here. I'm coming to the C&O event tomorrow with my new car -- looking forward to the event. I've never been before with any of my previous cars, but one of my buddies told me about it and we'll be there tomorrow. Hope to see you all there.

 

Are there any 997TT with exhaust that attend these events? I am looking into buying one and I hear a live audition makes a world of difference.

Yes, now that the weather is nicer the event is hugely popular and has literally hundreds of cars in attendance. There was also a well-publicized crash of a 1300hp twin turbo Gallardo Spyder this last time, which you can find on YouTube.

 

At the May meet I thought I lost my marbles when I saw GT2 RS driving by....I was in the RXh and followed, white car and it sounded glorious...finally got to catch up with the guy and said "just awesome" and he was real cool as we chatted for about 15 seconds.

What a car!

 

Is this still going on? If so next event is Sept 4th?

 

couple of months late but yes first Sunday of every month at Northview High School in John's Creek.

 

Did anyone make it out? If so, how was the turnout?

 

I made it out for the first time. I actually stayed the whole time. And because it's my first time I don't know how good the normal turn out would be. I was hoping for more exotics but only saw 1 360 and few old 308s. There wasn't any 430/458 or any other newer model. As for lambo: 1 gallardo, 1 murcielago. 6 GTRs. 1 SLR. Only car that really got a lot of attention was Lexus LFA. There was few GT3 and 1 GT3 4.0....but this guy left before I get to park. Overall..I had a good time. I would like to come next month and see if there is going to be a better turn out. If there is another event like this, please let me know. BTW...it's hella better than going to auto show.
