Enclosed Shipping

I'm looking to have my car (2011 Panamera) shipped from Atlanta to Philadelphia, then back again. Car will be in Philly for about a week. Need it shipped to arrive by early next week. Can anyone make any suggestions?

Thanks,
Michael

Michael,

We bought a 996TT this past spring, had it shipped by Intercity from Phoenix to Cleveland. I think it was around $1800. Communication with the front office could have been a little better, and the trip took a few days longer than promised, but i was happy with the overall experience. When the driver picked up the car, he apparently went over the car with the seller. The seller did say the driver was not the most pleasant person. When the truck arrived (had to meet him at a truckstop in the area because I did not think his truck would be able to turn around on my one way street) the car was wrapped up in a disposable car cover. the Truck/equipment were clean and in good shape (to include the interior of the trailer) The driver was friendly and courteous enough to me, and went over the exterior of the car with me.

I guess at the end of the day I would use them again because, bottom line, they took good care of the car.

Thanks grayman, I actually just completed the shipping form for Intercity today. They were recommend by another board member, and they are a sponsor here so am hoping they do a great job. My biggest concern is taking care of the car, although speed is also a high priority as I am sending it up / back to get tuned... so excited to have it back in my hands

Hagel, good luck with the shipping. I am very envious, as the Panamera is a beautiful machine. I'm sure Intercity will take good care of your baby. Let us know your impressions of the car when you get it home
