alot of the people that were going to come did not due to the parking lot. Might I suggest a business location or a shop. Trust me, people are more than willing to let you use their parking lot because it brings in business.

Also I don't mean this in a bad way, but the crowd was quite "diverse" if you get what I am trying to say. I don't think some people are down for that.

I understand, Justin. We won't have this car meet at that park again. Our second meet that we did was at Bone Daddy's parking lot. I'll be sure to have future ones at business locations or a shop. I've already been talking to car shops and a business area about hosting one there and they have agreed to it.

Can you elaborate what you mean by diverse? I try to have more of a diverse car meet where domestics, imports, europeans, and exotics are invited. I just want everyone there

I think he means a whole bunch of riced out ****.

If that is what he means then I don't think there is much you can do about it since its a public meet. Charge $5 cover fee's and you will get rid of all of the crap cars.

It was honestly not my type of thing, but I can't say it was the worst meet I have been to.

I don't know if because the meet was held in a neighborhood or something but alex and I were talking and you could tell who was there in a car and who was there just to spectate. This effectively doubled the population at the meet and it was a should to shoulder grind at a few instances. Ontop of thing, half the people there were straight up thuggin and luckily I had a few of my corvette breathren there to watch over my car. I know alex and I were within 5 feet of his car at all times

Yeah, we just wanted to do a public meet so that anyone is invited. We'll see about charging a fee later on if we lean towards the direction where we want to rent out a place. Thanks for showing up anyway and seeing how it is, Alex

Justin, different areas of Dallas attract different people. The Austin one was a lot of fun. We did one in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and now Richardson. We'll try Houston soon and see how the turn out will be. I'm glad that you guys did show up though, but I'm sorry for those that were dressed up as thugs that made you uneasy. I'm still learning on how to improve each meet so I really appreciate the constructive criticism.

If I were you I would try to aim toward a different market. A meet full of hondas and stuff is normal. People see that everywhere. Just because it is big won't exactly mean the meet is good. not saying your meet is bad but you should cater your meet to attract a different type of persona to ccm. You want people to know about it so they come, not the other way around. When you start attracting the nicer cars to the meet and the meet is packed from one end of the parking lot with supras and such, people will say holy **** we need to go check this out.

Thanks, Justin! That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I have an idea for the Houston one to attract a different crowd as well. I do want to attract a lot of nice cars, but I know I need help. Sometimes, I feel like I should get a better car to attract those crowds. I love my car, but it's hard to attract domestics and nicer cars.

I think if you worked on your flier and put some other cars on there, it'd help. I gave you my comments on the message board on your website.

I also recommend redoing the website so it's not all flash and reworking your forums so they're easier to use. When someone goes to your forum page, they should get a listing of the board.

Either way, thanks for hosting it. I look forward to the next one.

What other cars should I put on the flier? I'll pass the word to Richard, the designer, so he can be sure to include other cars
What do you mean a listing of the board?
The cover page is the only flash page. Can you give me of a good example of a forum so I can see what you mean?

You're welcome
