It was Awesome. I am sorry I hadn't found out about these little cruises before. It is the first time I have had my new 08 Vette out on any twisty roads and it handled them beautifully. I was up with the front of the group most of the way out so I had to be on my toes to keep up with Andrew (96BeaSST) and Jason (Malu59Rt). Overall it was a great experience and meeting alot of new people as well. I will definately be up for the next one. So Bara when is the next one? Adam (Autoscope) you should come out next time.

Adam @ Autoscope

You missed a very good run indeed. Your car was needed for a certain black Lambo to play with since the other INSANE Vette guys weren't there. I think one of them who went on the first one...his name is Andy...AKA Blacksheep??

Nice! Sounds like it was fun...

I am sorry I had to bail. You guys had some amazing cars out there.

Bara- How did the car drive? Any noticeable differences with high speed handling?

Several of us had a bad feeling about this cruise and decided to skip. It might be a good idea for anyone posting picture to blank out the license plates.

Post surgery check up

My post surgery check up went great!
My doctor said I am healing up very quickly and he expects a full recovery in no more than 4 months
I already feel ton's better and should be back in action very soon.
I will get back on my bike for some practice in about 2 weeks. Im going to try and run about 20 laps at 3/4 speed and see how I feel. If all goes well I will be ready for the next event. Im installing 2 more cameras on the bike for the next drive as well.
I will keep everyone posted on my progress. I wanted to post this to show my appreciation to everyone.
Adam, Shawn, Carlos, Corey, Bruce, Dario, and everyone else.
Thank you so much for your support. I will be tearing up the asphalt and filling up your rearview mirrors again soon.
Thanks
Chris

Jay (Blacksheep) couldn't make it this weekend, but I was more than willing to play with Dario. I could never line up with him though

It's dyno'd anywhere from 524whp to 560whp. I've raced a couple of Murcielago's before and didn't have too many issues, just wanted to see how it stacked up against a LP640. Either Dario took off and I gave chase, or I took off and Dario gave chase.

From what I can tell, the older Murci's were rated at 580hp, and the LP640's at 631hp. 50hp is a healthy bump in power, so it would have been nice to see how the LP compared to the older Murci's.

I have yet to dyno at LG, but I think Louis can provide information to compare with the other shops I've dyno'd at.

I've seen some of your videos on here and I gotta say you've got skills man when it comes to the editing thing. Good music to go along with it as well. I'm sure I'm not the only one wishing you had gone with us on Bara's run for some excellent footage.
Wishing you a speedy recovery and will hopefully see you on the next RUN!

Thanks C,
For a second I thought you where going to say I had skills on the bike.....lol..

Not to worry, I WILL be attending the next cruise. I have big plans for the next DVD. I'll just say this. 3 cameras on the rr with audio!!!

I swear the sound of those turbos on cc08GT2's ride where crazy. When I was behind him I couldn't breath cause the turbo's where turning the atmosphere inside out.

HPP - 560whp bone stock
Corvettes of Dallas - 524whp (reads 20+ low according to several people including Louis)
Colvin Automotive in Austin - 537whp (90F outside and no mufflers)
