Arizona section seems so dead?!

How come this section seems so dead? New to Arizona and was looking to get into the car scene out here. Any events or local repeating gatherings worth while?

Almost nobody really uses the regional forums that much anymore because there just arent that many people.

Some Phoenix things car wise:
1st Saturday of every month: Cars n Coffee @ Gainey Ranch (Scottsdale)
3rd Saturday of every month: Cars n Coffee @ Penske dealerships (Scottsdale)
3rd Saturday of every month: Cars n Coffee @ Chandler Rd & 10 (Chandler)
Every Saturday: Vintage & New Cars @ Pavillions (Scottsdale)

There are a lot of other get togethers around the area but just depends on what type of cars you are into. Very big on classics/muscle/lowriders out here in AZ.
