I am going to build a base model RWD Taycan for my wife. I'd like to keep it around $100k. What are some must-have options in your opinion? The options I'm on the fence about...
Performance battery plus - $5780 - we don't need the additional range, and Ive heard conflicting reports as to whether it adds performance.
PASM - $2200 - I love the air suspension in her current 2017 panamera. It rides great and I like that you can raise and lower it. If I leave off this option, do I still get air suspension?
Thermally and noise insulated glass - $1150 - I've heard this is a good cheap option for the 911, but not sure it is needed in an already super quiet car. We would be getting tinted windows anyways
Rear 2+1 seats - $480 - I like the 4-seater set up in the Panamera, but it looks like the the only difference between the 4-seater and 5-seater Taycan is the seat belt and headrest. It doesn't look like they did anything to make 2 seats roomier than 3 seats.
Ordered a RWD April 1 and took delivery last Saturday. I suggest the bigger battery and air suspension - you'll appreciate the extra range when weather is cold and the great ride comfort. Thermally inulated glass is standard on RWD. Don't waste the $ on the center rear seat - nobody is sitting there comfortably and with the optional storage package there is a tray in the center tunnel blocking any legs from fitting there. I went with chrono to get the thicker steering wheel as well. At 106K here's my white/red spec:

I got mine and it was around 98k and they gave me 4k off. You want the premium package and I was not sold on the leather interior until I actually saw it and now very happy I paid the extra money for it because the Porsche crests in the seats really pop in Chalk as opposed to black. Also like the 20 inch sport aero wheels which hides the black boring calipers.
