Appropriate Wheel Off Set For 996 Tt

Is there an appropriate off set for wheels, is there a chart which would make this much easier for me to understand. I am shopping for wheels and im always confronted with the offsets which i have no clue about.

If there isnt a right or wrong offset which is recommended for an almost flush to fender appearance.

Thanks in advance guys.

Oh by the way im in the market for 19 inch wheels 8.5 in front and 11.5 in rear, with the large lip on the rears.

Check this out, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offset_(wheel) then you can decide what you want as well as the spacers needed to get the wheels out to the fender.

Be careful getting spacers, some will have the lugs on them so you use your stock lug bolts to connect the spacer and the spacer has studs on them w/ new lug nuts.
My spacers were just spacers and I had to find the difference of the spacer and ad that to the length of the lug bolt.

Here is a good place for lug bolts and such. RAD USA Direct. Cold Forged German Steel Lug Bolts and Wheel Locks.
