oil/air separator replacement

I also posted this in the 996 forum area. Anyone had an experience in replacing the oil separator in a 996. My technician says the rubber is warn and it's going to be leaking soon. Recommends replacing it. Say's the parts reasonable, but it a long process in getting the unit in and out. Thanks

JFP in PA is infamous around these parts
It's pretty much the same as on a 986/987...........parts are not expensive, but the process is a pain in the butt............. If you do it yourself, when you finish, remember to say "thank you" to Porsche for using this design instead of PVC valve like the rest of the world.............
