Hardwire kit for Garmin Nuvi 760?

Anyone know of a hardwire kit for the Nuvi 760? I have seen them for some of their smaller models but not this one yet...Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

I made my own. Go to Frys or any auto parts store and get a universal cig. lighter extender. Cut off the part that goes into the car lighter. You'll have two exposed wire, and (-) and a (+). Then take apart the car's lighter and tap the exposed wires onto the back. Plug the navi. cord into the extender. All you have to do now is hide the wires and you are set. Navi plug will come on when the car is running.

The traffic update is done using wireless or radio signal i believe. i don't see how it's related to wiring of the external nav power.

No. The traffic receiver (for either FM or MSN) is built into the power cord and cigarette lighter adapter.

This is for hardwiring power to the unit so you don't have wires all over the place. You are going to plug the navi power cord into the ( hidden cigarette lighter adapter which is hardwired to the car). So whatever functions you get when you plug it in the front cigarette lighter to begin with, you will get with this method. The only thing you're doing is hardwiring a hidden cigarette lighter extender and powering the nai unit through that.

His point is that the OEM cig lighter power cord likely contains within it an FM antenna for receiving traffic signals.
