Does anyone have a writeup with pictures so I know where to look to put in these new sensors I just received? Thanks!

 

Imola, did you get this completed? I can help you with this. I have an O2 tool if needed.

From under the exhaust, there are bosses on top of the cats, use a little graphite on the threads (do not touch sensors!), feed the other end through an opening on each side of the airbox the airbox, there are a couple of visible clips to keep the wires off the block and exhaust, but get the connections situated first.

From on top of the car looking at intake, look for the connections that you fed up through the bottom, on each sideof the intake are a pair of connections on a plastic mount, the O2 sensors connect to that, it is physically impossible to screw this up.

Let me know if you need help, this will take 30 minutes max including raising/lowering the car.

Time zone change?? I have her *** in the air ready to go I hope this o2 tool is useful cuz I see how it may be hard to get a wrench on the sensor.

Thanks again Deepblue! Anyone else reading this -- I highly recommend you have the Porsche o2 sensor tool before starting. I don't see how you would do it any other way.

 

You're welcome. Any O2 tool should work, got mine at Autozone for $12.95. The shorter the better to get under the heat shields. Maybe next time we'll have time to remove the bumper and intercoolers :-)
