Hi guys,

I have an 07.2005 Navi disc and I just got myself the latest 08.2007 disc as an update for the POIs and what not. I load that disc in my trunk-mounted DVD player and on the PCM screen, when I am trying to enter in a an address, it sits there "loading..." indefinitely, so it's not reading the new disc for some reason.

When I check out the disc's contents on my home PC, it is just like the older disc that works fine (several files with strange extension names, but it's layout and everything is just like on the old disc, so I know its not corrupt or anything).

Any ideas? Is there a special button sequence to press to update the system or something? Or is the DVD navi disc simply a "load n play" ?

 

the old navi is DVD ROM, so it just read and play. hope this helps. maybe reburn yourself a disc and try again?
