Replacing Engine Air Filters - 997.2 Carrera DIY

Relatively simple DIY - See attached. My apologies if anyone has already posted this, but the searches I performed did not bring up any info.

997.2 air filter change

just did this, thanks for the post, saved me hundreds! just wanted to add a few items i found

there is a grey connector to the right that has to be disconnected, simple just squeeze the end and it slides back to disconnect from the cover

also some of the screws are hard to get to and see, so i used a flash light and had a magnetic tool from sears just in case. getting them out easy, some getting them in was not so easy so i just used some plumbers putty to put a small piece on the screw head then it stuck to the torx and i had no issue getting them back in. Hope it helps. Took me about 30 min the first time I'm sure i could do this again in 15.

Please tell me more about how you got the grey air control valve on the right side of the airbox to release. I've squeezed, twiisted, pinched and cussed. Still can't get it to release. I'm afraid I'll break the bracket on the airbox. Help!
