04 Lamborghini Galllardo Rear Differential

Guys I have a 2004 Gallardo with 26k miles on it. I did oil and filter change as well as front and rear differential change on fluids as well as adding the GM friction reducer. Checked all the eGear lines all is solid. Cars runs perfect in a straight line eGear shifts toght and perfect. Car purrs. I have had a couple Gallardos.

At super low speeds on sharp turns forwards or backwards there is a binding sound. My mechanic showed me play on the rear tires when on hoist in gear shut off. He saif he belived this noise was caused by pressure on the differential on the turns.
recommended a new differential. His labor on change out is fair $320 ...the cost I looked up was $7000 on a new rear differential.

my questionz

how to spend less? Anyone know of a better price than 7000 frickin bucks?

does anyone know anyone rebuilding these?

Anyone know of a used one out there?

is my mechanic full of crap and its not the rear differential?

if you say bring to dealer Im coming to your house to drag you from bed to explain things hahaha NO on dealer they have F d me far too many times.
