Tesla Model S Carbon Fiber Aero Pieces from APR Performance - GMP Performance
"It's electric! Boogie woogie woogie!"
Sorry, we haven't been able to stop singing that song around the shop for months because we have Teslas on the brain almost 24/7. After our Frozen Matte Blue Model S build and the Model X we fitted with a good looking set of Avant Garde wheels, it's hard to shake the thought of what awesome Tesla projects we'll tackle next and are always searching for the newest upgrades. That's when we stumbled up the carbon fiber pieces from APR Performance.
APR Performance has been hard at work since 1999, crafting high quality aerodynamic products for the sleekest of vehicles and the time has arrived for the electrifying Model S to get ever more brilliant. Check out some of the pieces below and let us know what you think!
Tesla Model S APR Performance Front Air Dam
The APR Performance Front Air Dam integrates with the factory front bumper to:
Tesla Model S APR Performance Front Grill
Dress-up the exterior with carbon fiber, molded to precise dimensions that only pre-preg materials can achieve. These parts are exotic-looking, race-inspired, and are unmatched in quality.

Tesla Model S APR Performance Front Air Dam
The APR Performance Front Air Dam integrates with the factory front bumper to:
- Reduce lift.
- Increase front-end stability.
- Improve high-speed cornering grip
- This Front Air Dam also utilizes a built-in aerodynamic splitter design that creates a high-pressure region of air atop the protruding surface, further reducing lift and increasing net downforce.
Tesla Model S APR Performance Front Grill
Dress-up the exterior with carbon fiber, molded to precise dimensions that only pre-preg materials can achieve. These parts are exotic-looking, race-inspired, and are unmatched in quality.
Features:
- Pre-preg. Carbon Fiber Manufacturing Process
- Exterior Components are vacuum-bagged and cured in the autoclave at high temperatures, ensuring quality, durability, and extremely-high strengh-to-weight ratios.
- Fade-Resistant Clear Coat
- Exterior Components are finished with UV-stable, production clear coat paint, then individually hand-polished to a brilliant shine.
- Easy Installation
- Exterior Components are designed to factory specifications for easy installation and clean fit and finish.
Tesla Model S APR Performance Rear Deck Spoiler
Features:
- Reduce rear-end lift and increase high-speed cornering grip (the magnitude varies depending on a vehicle's shape).
- This vehicle-specific component is designed to match the contours of the vehicle's rear deck area, for a factory-like fitment.
- Increase downforce and reduce drag when used with other aerodynamic components (i.e. rear wing, rear diffuser, etc.).
- This component is formed in the autoclave at high temperatures using pre-pregnated carbon fiber manufacturing processes, for high strength and low weight.
- Each Rear Deck Spoiler is finished with UV-resistant clear-coat paint for resistance against various environmental conditions (take care of this as you would take care of your vehicle's paint finish - polish then coat with good-quality wax or synthetic protectant).
