ps cup question

I have a 996tt and the front tires are worn more than the rears. The dimples on outer shoulder are all gone, I am past the wear indicators on most areas of fronts.

I guess this is bc it is a all wheel drive car and running -.9 camber front and -1.8ish rear.

No cords yet but it is my first time to run the ps cup tires on a car. I have done 5-6 track days, not sure how many heat cycles.

Are they toast?

driver8 is infamous around these parts
I usually run mine till they cord. They still have some grip at that point but not like when they were newer. The number of heat cycles are what is important. After a certain number of heat cycles, the tires begin to lose their grip.

It looks like you could be running much more camber front and rear.

Here is a good resource about hot and cold tire pressures, hot tire temps, and camber settings.

with the limited camber you are running the fronts will continue to wear out (outside edge). MPSC's can handle 25 plus heat cycles and still be fast. Typically the older they get the more heat they need to work. All this aside... More camber our stock up on front tires.
