SafeRacer.com's 110% Price Guarantee
SafeRacer.com's 110% Price Guarantee
For all of us trackrats, here's a PSA:
SafeRacer's 110% price guarantee is garbage.
I recently started looking to purchase new boots and gloves and started there. Their prices are MSRP. So, I decided to start comparison shopping. I checked ebay, endless.com and amazon.com and found numerous offerings far lower than their prices. So, I called SafeRacer and spoke with a sales person who told me that none of those websites were "legitimate". Really? So, what is legitimate, I asked. He stated to me over the phone that the seller must be an authorized retailer. Well, that's not what their price guarantee states online.
So, for all of you looking to purchase new driver gear, I'd look elsewhere. In fact, I'm considering notifying the Better Business Bureau in their state.
BTW, I obtained what I wanted from ebay and amazon and saved about $100. I think that's about as "legitimate" as it needs to be.
