Trackday at Talladega Grand Prix (Alabama) - March 5th - Monday

I am getting a track day going for March 5th at TGP and would love to have 6speed members to join us. $150 per person to drive and spectators are free. Paypal to easy2speed@gmail.com (as a gift so I don't get a 3% fee). Please send your money as soon as you have confirmed so that I can pay in advance.


- Long pants required
- Helmets required - bring your own
- Fire Extinguisher
- Only 2 "offs" and you're done for the day
- Might be hot even in early March, so make sure you bring gatorade/water

Talladega Gran Prix Raceway is located just minutes from Interstate 20.
T.G.P.R., built in 1985 has been host to numerous motorcycle races, go-kart races, sport car races, and various clubs events.
T.G.P.R. is used as a test course by a major motorcycle manufacturers and pro racing teams.
T.G.P.R. is available for tuning and testing of motorcycles, cars, and go-karts.
T.G.P.R. is in operation year around and welcomes newcomers and veterans alike.

If the new transmission for the Panoz arrives as it is supposed to next week and I get it installed in time, I will plan to attend to shake down the new-to-me car.

TGPR is a great track, pretty hard (but not impossible) to hit something hard unless you are being a complete goofball.
