Hey, my dad and I are thinking of building a race car and are considering multiple options. I recently found this:

My question is; is it worth it to buy this than turn it into a track only car, or just buy a 2010 camaro ss and gut it and turn that into a race car?

My $0.02, buy a wrecked 2010-2012 SS. This way you pick up a complete running driving car. Fix the damage and build/prep from there. Depending on what type of racing you are shooting for, it's going to get bent in that life. Why pay full price the first time around. I work on a 2010 SS road race chassis on the weekends and it has spent most weeks, after the race weekends, at the body shop. Again just my 2 pennies.
