Jim Russell school

Hey folks I completed the 1st jim russell class up in Canada, and thinking about doing another event. I was told after completing 3 events I'm elgible for a license? Can someone specify what type of license it is and what else I would have to do I'm in the US? Details below Thanks

For students interested in obtaining a competition license, Performance Lapping Days are the final two steps of a three step process needed to receive certification for an ASN CANADA FIA affiliated regional competition license. To become eligible, drivers must successfully complete the Performance Driving Course and a minimum of two (2) Performance Lapping Days.

What kind of license are you looking for? According to the US Jim Russell site:

http://www.jimrussellusa.com/programs/racing-schools

you'd be eligible for an SCCA license after the second session (even though they offer a 3rd session). I might need to check out this school since it's so close to me.
