I just found these rules though regarding convertibles and based on the last paragraph, it looks like I might be ok to run in the beginners/A group. I've left a VM with HOD's northeast regional director and figured I'd also reach out to you guys for feedback. Do you think I'll be good to go with my cab, and if not, can you recommend 4-point roll hoop?

I got my roll bar from Das Sport. that seemed to be the only solution for 997.1 cab. Works great, I can install or remove in less than an hour after I got it bolted in the first time.

I have used it at tracks such as Watkins Glen, VIR, Hallet Motor Speedway with no problem going through Tech inspection. I ran with PCA as well as EMRA.

You don't need it unless the event is competition or timed. For beginner DE, don't bother with roll cage

 

Be sure to wear your helmet and you will have a BLAST!!!
