Advice please! short shift kits

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing 2 short shift kits. One for our 996 and the other for our 986. I've seen many makes/models and price ranges out there. With no personal experience in ever buying these, I'm hoping you can suggest a good kit to buy?

Thank You!

The one made by Ruf is very good and adjustable.

otherhwhitemeat is infamous around these parts
like the b&m (30%) and FVD's standard (22%- I think)- also has an adjustable (10-20-30%) like RUfs I guess.

The ball ends on the linkage to the shifter?

Jody,
All you have to do is ask. I have both the B&M SSK and the Evo shift link. Alex at MaxRPM did the install. I like them but, the shifting will become noticeably notchier.

No extra linkage needed with Ruf. It installs at the tranny under the car.
