This is exactly the info I'm looking for... I've got a set of 19" for street and 18" hollows for track, but I think I may go back to 18" for street wheels again.
I'm thinking about running 255/35-18 up front... thinking about going with 18x9. What offsets would I need? Front fenders are already rolled from the factory for Turbo. What about rears... I can roll the fenders myself, no prob. What width of wheels could I run? Most likely 12", I'd think. However, tire sizing may be the limiting factor. Thanks... |

I love the look of Cary's car, however to use the extra width and weight I would have to go to the 345's in the rear and there is no current match OD wise unless you go to 315's front, which is too wide. I can put 335/275 Hoosiers on, but then they are useless for the street. Michelin does not currently make 335's in the Pilot Sport Cup. The 315 MPSC is a far better handling tire than the street 335's and 255/265 or 275 combinations that are currently available and would fit. :mad: |

i see, i guess that problem will rise if only cup tires are considered... it'll be a lot easier if only street tires are used isn't it? I love cary's widebody as well...and it's simply the same as the one meridian has on their car... and this is definetely what i'm going for. but my main purpose for the car will be for street and occasionally track... where cup tires are not my priority ^_^ i guess i then can run Michilin PS2... what kind of wheels and tire combination would you suggest? and as for your car, why not consider running the hoosiers 335/275 combination? you ought to buy a second set of wheels for track use with hoosier, and perhaps PS2 for daily street use ^_^ |
If I were to use street tires I would use Goodyear F1 Fiorano's 255's and 335's. :)

For my MPSC's 265's I rolled the fenders. I also did some reduction in size to the radiator mounts (to re form plastic) and then used a hot gun to re form the interior plastic inserts at certain areas where the plastic would rub the tire. Call Rob at S Car Go Racing for the offsets. My offset may be different due to the wide brake calipers. The fenders are also rolled. I would use 9.5's with 255's in the front because of the resulting stiffer side wall which provides for a quicker turn in. In the rears twelve for 315's and 12.5's for 335's. Also used the hot gun to reform certain areas. |

You would not believe what a difference a half inch makes on spreading the tire. The 315's on 12 inch wheels have a bow while the 12.5 inch wheels are almost flat when the wheels are raised off the ground.

Oh good one;) Looks mean! Take one from the rear if you can.. Directly on, I'll be able to really see the difference that way. 10s up front <g>.

Here is the last piece on the harding piping from the IC's. This piece is double jacketed for liquid CO2 cooling of inducted air after it leaves the IC's. When this pic was taken it wasn't quit finished. I received some additional pics from S Car Go Racing today. These will be the last pics of modifications that I will be posting on Killer Angel. There will not be any more modifications. Today I lost my best friend of thirty-four years to grafters host which is a problem that can result from a bone marrow transplant which Mike underwent approximately two years ago. In memory of my friend Mike, KA will undergo no more changes.
