997 Race car?? Suggestions?

Hi

I was trying to sell my regular 997 to get an s or a turbo or gt3. Looks like that may not happen so I am wondering if anyone has experience turning a regular 997 into a useable track/race car. I was thinking along the lines of supercharger, suspension, brakes, seats. Any comments or ideas? How do I lighten the load?

Thanks
rjh

997 race build

I can definitely help out if you are interested in turning your 997 into an extremely capable track/race car. What are your intentions for it? Do you plan on actually racing it in SCCA, PCA or NASA events, or are you more interested in just taking it to HPDE/non competition events?

I work and drive for a race team based in Daytona Beach, Florida that specializes in building and racing 997 Porsches for the track and the street. We have experience building everything from the weekend track warrior to full on professional race cars capable of winning at the highest level of competition. Check out this link: http://www.bgbmotorsports.com/for_build.asp and let me know if you have any questions. Don't hesitate to email me as well. Jonmiller34@gmail.com
