997.1 tt FVD sport cams needs pining?

Hi everyone,

I in the process of installing the FVD sport cams on 997.1 tt engine.
Due to the o.e.m intake cam spun history I'm looking for info/experience of members about pining the FVD cams.
As far as I know the cams are Schrick brand but sale exclusively through FVD.
I hate to pin the new and expensive cams with no reason (let alone void any warrenty) but on the other hand would like to avoid taking the engine out again for cam pining if cam spun occurs.

Your input is appreciated.

Thank you.
