07 Audi S4 or 07 BMW 335i
I currently have a Trailblazer SS and I'm not enjoying it as much as I had hoped. I would like to get back into a coupe or sedan. I'm debating between a 6 speed Audi S4 or 6 speed BMW 335i. I have never driven either car so I suppose that is where I should start.
My other concerns are the future maintenance costs for these. Would there be any major reason to stay away from either of these brands or models? I haven't found anything yet...

I have an 04 S4 (same engine, 4.2L V8) and it's been as reliable as a wood burning stove. I would easily buy another S4. I have also owned a 08 550i which was a nice car, but for some reason I just didn't like it as well as Audi. When the 911 showed up, the BMW went and I kept the older S4. Even though it's older I just felt the Audi was better than the BMW and more trusted. The 335i is a nice car to be sure, I love how they look and they have great tuning potential if you wanted to do it up a bit.
Anyway, my advice is just based on my experience but I couldn't be happier with my S4 and won't hesitate in buying another one when I finally decide to part with it.

My opinion:
Hello,
Never driven a 07 S4, but my good buddy had a 2009 335i for 4 years so i can probably give you some inputs:
1) N54's all had fuel pump issues, my buddies ran into about 5. Engine would throw a code and remain in limp mode until you tow it to BMW.
Other than the fuel pump issue, i'd say 335i is a solid car. GREAT car.
