Are you on any VW forums, I feel like I have seen those pictures on one of them (GolfMKV or VWVortex). And I'm sure you have heard of it, but go to your VW dealer to get the new front grill without the plate holes, looks cleaner, and also something rather small I added that I think made a difference is the brushed mirrors if you look at my thread you can see them there.

 

yeah I'm on vwvortex. I want the grill without holes, just need $. I do like the brushed mirrors you have.

Last I heard they were just no longer making their systems in house and that they were closing down their manufacturing building and reopening in a few months, but that was a few months ago.
