Congrats, I really like the new V-dubs. We bought a 2010 Passat Komfort with hi-def kit for my wife recently and we both really love how the car drives, comfortable and quick car.

The S4 is gone, I needed something different for my LONG commute.
Just got them both detailed, one is ready to go under the covers and the other one is getting snows

I love my MKV GTI and the MKVI is even better. I am getting mine APR chipped come the spring. I was looksing for a fun car for resoanable money and I bought the GTI for all of the reasons you listed above.
