Very nice car, congratulations! I have been looking at these cars and if I could find one around Orlando in your color I would buy it, but just keep seeing black, too hot, red, not me. I want your color or white. I am 6'5 250 pounds and you are right plenty of room. Enjoy it!!!

Congrats!

We have exhaust kits, intakes, coilover kits, and much more ready for the Golf R!

Maybe it was an R32? Or perhaps it was in another country... when the MkV R32 came out I poo-pooed the DSG as the only option and didn't even test drive one because of it when I was in the market for another car. Then I drove one when I wasn't in a position to buy it, and I was completely sold!

Now the R20 is old school only for those in NA. Sucks kinda, I really like the DSG now. I know people ***** no matter what you give them as an option. I would never own a car with parasitic torque converter, but an automated, dual clutch will be my next car.

Both great cars tho !! btw simple chip in the gti adds 50 hp.
Yeah, but no matter what you do FWD pretty much sucks for anything over 200ft lbs. The GTI is a great car for daily driver and performance bargain, but it will always be limited. Both in a straight line, and especially for turning.

For a FWD car however, the GTI is amazing to drive. I actually prefer it to the Golf R, stock for stock.

Congrats!! Golf R's would be awesome for Montana... where do you live out there? I lived in Kalispell/whitefish area for 2 years! I LOVEE it out there. I will always consider it a place to call home and could see buying a house out there one of these days!

Enjoy! I love my MKV, and thought about the golf R, but I couldn't justify spending that kind of cash on a car that would depreciate off the lot (just a college kids two cents).
