Golf R APR Turbo Back Exhaust, ECU Flash and Carbotech Brakes
SubscribeThis '12 Golf R came to us looking for more go and with APR we knew just what to do.

Parts Installed :
APR Turbo back Exhaust
APR ECU Flash
Carbotech Brakes
To start things off it was time to let the R breathe and also add that extra little tone to let everyone know that this wasn't just another 4-door Golf. The new system was pulled out of the boxes and made ready for installation.

Time to now start removing the old stock parts

In order to get the stock downpipe out due to the driveshaft placement....

...the driveshaft is unbolted and moved to the side to allow clearance.

Now the new downpipe in place

After the downpipe all the other pipes were put into place loosely to allow for proper adjustment

With the muffler and tips installed and everything adjusted into place the system was gone over one last time and all bolts torqued down tight.
With the new exhaust it was time to re-flash the ECU with the new program. This way allowing not only more power but also so the computer knows what changes were made with the new high flow exhaust.
After all the extra gains in power our customer wanted to go ahead and upgrade the brakes to a set of our Carbotech brake pads.

With all the new upgrades in place it was time to let this R back out on the road with a little extra pep in its step.
