John brought us his GTI with certain goals in mind. He wanted the car to make 400+WHP and be a reliable daily driver with power to back it up when needed. We partnered with our friends at APR and built him just that utilizing quality parts & tuning. This car has our in house built motor (rods oversize pistons (bored block)) & head package (valves springs ported) all with APR parts. The turbo is a GTX2867R and has a full low pressure and high pressure fueling setup from APR. This build usually takes 3-4 weeks from start to finish. We ended up making 430WHP and 431WTQ on 93 Pump fuel and picked up another 30whp on Race fuel. This car has 4 maps in the stock ECU and can be switched with the flick of the factory cruise control switch and other supporting modifications/upgrades to handle the extra power and torque.
