Front license plate tickets

Hi I was wondering if anyone recently got ticketed and is it a fix it ticket or a fine? Currently I don't have any plates and just use the temporary registration on the front window which actually works great. I'm willing to just put on the rear plate and pay fines (as long as it doesn't get too expensive or frequent) but if I have to actually go to the DMV and show that I have mounted a front plate, then that's a different story....
I'm aware of the front tow hook and skene solutions as well....

It's a Fix it ticket. Usually $10-15 if you get it signed off by the police. Just go to any local police department once you put a plate on. Otherwise, it's abt a $120 fine.

So if you fix it, would you still have to pay about $200?

stjames151 is infamous around these parts
The first on is a free fix it if you dont have a factory mount. The will issue you the tic and if you show it to the dealer, they are obligated to put a mount on. On my HMMWV, I just put the plate in the window and take it to the PD station. Never had any kind of fee tho.
