I have been researching 911s..."sportstrends auto sales" in CA seems to have many Porsches for sale at relatively reasonable prices. I am all the way here in the DC area so will have to purchase a car sight unseen. Anyone have any experience from buying from these people? Cars look good in pics...but don't about the buying experience and if the cars are legit.
Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Reputable used car dealers is an oxymoron. Never ever buy a car you have not seen and had a full PPI done on.

We work very closely with www.FisherImports.net they are located in Laguna Beach

Very reputable NO BS- Not your typical used car dealership.

They dont live at the Auction trying to flip beater cars- Only clean premium cars- Low volume.

Really a different buying experience.

Talk to Jim or Elliot- let him know I sent you .

You can trust my friend over at OC Autohaus or Eurocar in Costa Mesa. They only car top notch cars and care a lot about their rep.

I'd like to recommend San Francisco Motorcars as a really good / reputable shop to look into. Phil is an awesome guy and he actually recommends that everyone get a PPI done on every single one of his cars that he sells. He doesn't sell auction cars, most of his stuff is consignment from people that he knows and trusts.

don't trust any. even if the shop is good, the car can have problem.

having said that, san francisco sports car is indeed reputable. their cars do need detailing though. they don't recondition the cars since most are consignment.

i would look into private party or lease returns also. some of the best deals are on ebay and forums.

What car are you looking for? Try craigslist! I'm in the sf bay and can view for you if I'm near by. You'll save a lot more versus the dealers.
