It's been about a year since the last time we did this event so here we go again. Most of the attendees have BMWs but this is opened to any car enthusiasts who would just like to have a short getaway and spend some time with like-minded individuals.

- 12PM: Meet at Santa Rosa Park (Santa Rosa and Oak St)

- 4PM-5PM: Head back to Courtyard hotel to check in

Not much interest from this forum but here's an update anyway:

- Instead of doing a potluck BBQ, I booked a caterer who'll be doing all the grilling for us. He'll be serving tri-tip, chicken, salad, rice, beans, garlic bread..etc..and will provide plates, utensils, napkins... Price will be about $20 a head which includes tip.

- Deadline to book hotel was a while ago but if anyone decides to come last minute, please call the hotel directly at 805-786-4200 and ask for Stefanie Howe, the Sales Manager. Ask her for the E60.net group rate.

Meet at Starbucks by 8AM and leave by 8:30AM. It's a 174 mile drive to SLO and with a gas/break stop at the Broadway St exit in King City, we should get there by around noon.

Meet up at Balboa Park in Encino at 8AM and leave by 8:30AM. It's a 170 mile drive to SLO so with a gas refill stop in Santana Barbara (4900 Via Real, Carpinteria), it'll take us roughly 3 - 3.5 hrs to get to Santa Rosa Park. We'll take 101 North all the way.

*We can get beverages at the local supermarket by the park once we get there.
