I hear this is a very good tire but we need someone(s) knowledgeable as to its function.

PS2s are the real deal, especially on the track.

I've already pulled the trigger on the AD07s and I'm sure they'll be far superior to the Conti's. Next time, I might fall in line and buy the PS2s though.
I prefer the AD07s over the PS2's, they are grippier and have a better sidewall feel.

The Nittos are no where near the performance level of the PS2's, AD07's and RE01R's... they are more of a "show" or "tuner" tire.

Driving around town they were fine, but when they were on the track they didn't give any feedback and had a lot less grip than other tires I've run on other cars. Plus they wore out really quickly. About 20 autox runs and probably 7000 miles of 50/50 casual and spirited street driving... they're done.

My 2 sets of conti rears lasted about 10K each, minimal track time on the second set. Toyos were about 12K with significantly more track time than on the contis. We'll see how these PS2s do.

I take it that they are soft tires? 80 wear rating maybe?

They're rated at 280... but that doesn't seem to count for much.

Not a lot of miles for a highly rated tire, but the track time has probably affected the life.

It seems Conti's are not in favor as they once were.

The Sport Contact 2's have been good on one of my vehicles, but I am very loyal to Michelin.

I wish they made the PS2 in 325/30-19.
