Guys,

Does anyone have a recommend shop in Northern NJ, or NY to repair damage wheels, I have a small 1 inch crack(from pot hole in NYC) on the inner edge of the wheels that is enough to make my tires leaking air to trigger my TPM. I was wondering if I can repaired. This is for my other car BMW 545i, which it will be trade in in about 2 months, don't want to spend fortune to buy new wheels. Please help..

that's good 'ol NY for you. i remember a few years ago driving thru 95 somewhere in the NY and a frigging hole swallowed one of my front wheels and bent it to s@$t. and this was a steel wheel too. i should of sued the city for negligence on their part to maintain their roads but i said heck with it. just imagine if it were an aluminum wheel, it would of easily cracked.

 

Wheel Collision CEnter, Bath, PA (Take 22 across jersey to easton, up 33 to bath. Or ship it. They can remanufacture the wheel- retrue, weld, trim, refinish, etc.

Just re-read the post. Trading in in 2 months? How often does it need air? If it is once a day or less frequent, just live with it- turn it back in 50 days!
