$ to refinish and paint wheels

Can anyone give me an idea of how much it should cost to refinish and paint the lip on my chrome 3 pc wheels?

About $85-120 dollars, depending on who/where you take it to in your area.

Don't be scared of trying to haggle with them either.

I was quoted $900 to have 4 wheels stripped and re-powdercoated... Seemed kind of high to me...

$120 per wheel sounds reasonable.

I just had mine stripped, sandblasted and powdercoated for 100 each, no clear coat. Another 200 for tire removal and remount, balance, and a couple of new valve stems...i had them done in gun metal...here is a pic..

I was given quotes of $295 per wheel for 3 piece wheels.

This was a full dis assembly, refinish rebuild with tire mounting and balance.

Needless to say.......I was shocked.

It is expensive because it is labor intensive. It usually costs $500-600 on a new set of wheels.
