Plug???

Got a flat in my rear 200 mile old PS2. Should I lay out the $$$$$ to replace it?? I don't "track" the car, just use it on the weekends. Only over 100 mph once in a while (don't tell the troopers on the NJ Parkway).

Replace it and have the peace of mind to know you are 100% safe.

Is your safety not worth $400-$500?

Remember that the plug will change in texture different from that of the tire when your weather changes dramatically!

And I am not putting in a "plug" for Michelin!!!

Patch, not plug. Should be fine. I assume the hole is mid tread, not near a shoulder.

It is safe, you are not tracking or pushing the tire to extremes.

If you replace it, post the old tire here it is worth money as a perfectly serviceable tire!
