Unhappy Got a bubble

Hey all, just wanted to know from any tire experts, I recently went over a terrible pothole and when I checked my rim/tire I noticed a small bubble on the sidewall. The tire happens to be fairly new (2500miles) and it is the front passenger tire. It is a PS2 and I was wondering if this is a safety hazard. I usually drive the car the way it was designed to be driven. So far, no issues and it really hasnt expanded. It sticks out about 1/4''. Any expert info is appreciated.

Take the tire off the rim and check it from the inside. If there are any splits in the halobutyl liner (impress your friends speak for the liner) than there is where the air is getting inside the tire. It will likely grow and get worse. Replace it. If no tear, than keep an eye on it. The bulge may not get bigger, but it's a possibility.

Important note: There's no way to tell if it will/won't just decide to let go on the highway at some point. It's better to replace it and not push your luck.
