Replica Wheels

I've seen replica wheels made in Italy supposedly to Porsche specs. Anybody have any experience with these. Are replicas any good?

you get what you pay for. why would you put potentially second rate wheels on a car, it's a very important aspect of the vehicle that i wouldn't leave to copy cats.

I know a bunch of companies that are pushing replica HREs at the moment. I guess we should view it as a form of flattery.

At the end of the day, you didn't buy a replica 911, right?

Ive had replicas on both my P Cars and NEVER had a problem with them. They were made from Italy my thing is why pay 6k for a set of rims when you can pay a qtr of that. Make sure the place is reputable but save your cash, as far as tires replicas I wouldnt get

you might be able to get the best of both worlds simply by buying used.

One of the best replies I've ever seen, I have to borrow this.

There are many replica items out there, if you're driving a Porsche or any high end car for that matter the parts on it are engineered to work together. Replica parts are just that, fake, for the most part not engineered to fit your car.

Now if you're going to get wheels for your car save up and buy the real thing just like you saved up and bought your real car. Like another board member stated, if you want something and can't afford it new, buy used, nothing wrong with that.
