spacers on the rear

Hello guys I am planing on spacers for my CS about 15mm the rears.. the question is do they affect the handling of the car or just cosmetic and if I decide to do alignment on the car with spacers and decide to remove the spacers would it cause a problem? on tire wearing or something.

Thanks all

oatmealadam is infamous around these parts
I'm not an expert, but I wanted spacers off Ebay for my C4S with Techart wheels and the tire shop warned me about the cheap metal ones for vibration. The tire shop recommended some custom made hub at a cost of $300-$400. BUT, I don't know if the tire shop was trying to make a sale either. The inexpensive way is better on the wallet, but I've been warned about spacers ... I guess it depends on the brand quality and I have yet to hear anything with regards to my post.

I don't know about the custom made hub, but the oem spacers are running around $300
