Dymag Wheels-what going on?

I heard Dymag went bankrupt. How is someone supposed to have these wheels serviced now? There have been a number of reports of these wheels not being able to hold air. Plus I know they are brittle and a good pothole will ruin them. Seems like a bad deal all around. Is it a case of a good idea that couldn't be brought to fruition?

Hello
they have gone into liquidation there for any after service will not be available unless another company bales them out fast, fingers crossed this happens soon.

Dymag are really the only ones to perfect the production of carbon barrels. Their execution with centers left something to be desired.

I've been informed that their assets are still intact, and it's looking like they'll go to Dymag's biggest creditor (a Swiss gentleman or company, I believe) and where they go from there nobody knows. Everyone in the performance wheel industry is watching this one, since no one wants to reinvent the (carbon fiber) wheel.

Get it? Oh god, it's 5:30pm, bad joke, time to go hom.

hehe

I wonder if Christiann von "koneseggeiisshienensissiu" bought the company, as their cars use the wheels.

Dymag was purchased out of BK by the old owner in December 2009 he owns the carbon side of the business and IP rights his plan is to do a JV with a Tier 1 supplier to the OE at this time this is the only plan. Aftermarket wheels are not on the imediate horizon.

So to recap Koenigsegg does not own them,HRE does not own the technology, and the wheels are not brittle.

The wheels can be refurbished but no warranty repairs contact me via pm if you need help.

I was the U.S. importer for the last 5 years.

I hear Dymag will be teaming up with Airbus to make new leak-free wheels. They'll have centerlock application too.
