Hubcentric rings - good or bad?
I'm looking to get a set of 18" track wheels and the Forgestars have caught my eye.
I noticed that they all come with aluminium hubcentric rings.
I remember reading somewhere that for track wheels, it's not a recommended solution, but I'm trying to get some more opinions from people who might have experience with them.
As for the track usage - it's not going to be anything crazy, probably around 5-6 DE's per year, no endurance racing here
Should the hubcentric rings be a showstopper? or this is nothing to be conenerned about??

Hey Alex, I have tracked mine 3 x's since and they are great, no problems what so ever except for the center caps falling out, I take them out when I track it to be safe. A former 6speeder Mikelly made a comment over on http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...star-f14s.html see post#11, I am starting to see more and more of them around
